The way you ask is the answer you get
What this lesson is about
AI systems do not understand your questions the way a person does. They respond to the instructions in your prompt, so how you write a prompt changes how useful the answer is. Designing prompts on purpose, instead of typing the first thing that comes to mind, is called prompt engineering. In this lesson you experiment with different prompt styles and watch the quality of the response change in front of you.

Small changes make a big difference. Prompts that give the AI a role, name the task clearly, add some context, and ask for a particular format tend to produce stronger answers than a short, vague question.
